Culomba, a Boston-based trio of voices, presents an intimate evening of powerful singing at Anchor House of Artists. Lysander Jaffe, Sophie Michaux, and Adam Simon draw inspiration from their diverse experiences as singers, instrumentalists, composers, and travelers. Their eclectic repertoire includes folk harmony singing from Georgia, Corsica, Ukraine, and the Balkans, eastern European dance tunes, early music, original compositions, and more. The trio has recently returned from a two-month European tour with Northern Harmony and released their debut album. In addition to the concert, Culomba will offer a singing workshop in the afternoon, open to all, where participants explore many styles of harmony singing in a fun and supportive environment. Singers of all levels of experience are welcome and everything will be taught by ear. Come make music with us!
Workshop 3-5 pm, $30-35. Concert 7 pm, $10-15. Workshop + Concert $40
